I’m Joe.

An Irish/British creative based in Bali, Indonesia, blending storytelling, photography, and entrepreneurship into one vision. One that I want to share.

I’m a photographer who uses the environment to create striking visuals that evoke wanderlust and emotions. Over the past decade, I have collaborated with world-class hospitality brands such as Ritz Carlton, Soneva, Belmond, Seabourn Cruises, Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, St. Regis, Capella, and NIHI Sumba, where I’ve been the lead content creator and photographer for the past four years.

My journey began in corporate life, where I worked as Senior Copywriter, Magazine Editor, and CEO’s Speechwriter for one of Southeast Asia’s largest conglomerates. But feeling creatively unfulfilled, I booked a one-way ticket, picked up a camera without knowing how to hold one, and followed instinct to reinvent myself. As a self-taught photographer, my work has been featured in global outlets like Forbes, Financial Times, Travel + Leisure, and The Telegraph.

I have fallen and failed many times and my journey is proof that dreams have no limits. I use the Phoenix as part of my logo to serve as a reminder that in order to harness our light and emerge from the darkness, we must find the spark that allows us to rise from the ashes.

I’m endlessly curious and always eager to capture the magic around me. I can often be found driving around on my scooter getting lost in thought, or enjoying coffee with my dogs while working on my novel. When I can’t be found, I’m exploring new destinations with a camera in hand. Photography has been my passport into worlds I once only dreamed of, and I’m passionate about using it to inspire others to create a life they imagine living.
