When to Visit
The best weather — and busiest season — is November to March, when the skies are clear and seas are calm. Shoulder months (April–May, September–October) bring fewer crowds and lower prices while still offering good weather. Expect heavy rains from June to October, though the lush green landscapes at this time can be spectacular.

Getting There
Krabi International Airport (KBV) has direct flights from Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and some seasonal international hubs. If you’re coming from Phuket, you can reach Krabi in about 2–3 hours by bus or private transfer.

Krabi can suit a range of budgets. Street food and local eats are inexpensive (USD $2–5 per meal), while beachfront restaurants run higher (USD $10–20). Excursions, especially private boat trips, are the main expense — expect to pay USD $40–80 per person for island-hopping tours. Local transport can be cheap if you rent a scooter (USD $8–10/day), or you can rely on tuk-tuks and songthaews.
